Ginol 16 (95%) is an emollient, conditioner, gloss enhancer, viscosity modifier, re-fatting agent, and thickener. It’s a solid organic compound with the chemical formula CH3(CH2)15OH. At room temperature, it’s a waxy white solid or flakes.
