Distric is a commercial grade of stearic acid. Stearic acid is a saturated fatty acid compound. It’s available in two major commercial grades: double pressed and triple pressed.
Distric is a white, free-flowing flake with a characteristic odor. It can be used in personal care and cosmetic applications.
Stearic acid is a mixture of approximately equal amounts of stearic and palmitic acids and small amounts of oleic acid. It’s used in the manufacture of: Candles, Cosmetics, Shaving soaps, Lubricants, Pharmaceuticals.
